We don't have to limit our learning to a grade. As interest goes, learning continues to seek out answers until interest moves to another subject. It balances out and it is the way I learned that babies learn when I heard never to compare growth in one area to another, or from one baby to another. If one grows in height and another learns to walk sooner, they will balance out with each other at some point because they were intent on learning one thing, then another. I saw a TedTalk from Sir Ken Robinson that nicely compared the concept to school's disconnected and segmented learning. www.ted.com/talks/ken_robinson_says_schools_kill_creativity?language=arq
